The purpose of the Introduction to HENCH Session to assess you in private as an individual, at which point we can make an informed recommendation. Our process for working with new members is thorough, and tailored to the individual’s needs.
Preparing for your Introduction is simple, make sure to hydrate before, during and after your session and be sure to eat something light 30 mins to an hour before arriving. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for training in, that provide enough freedom of movement to enable us to perform our assessments, which we complete in our fully private facility.
Come to the studio 5-10 minutes before the session starts. Be sure to let the front desk know you’re new and we’ll get you set up with a facility tour and show you to the changing rooms (we have private showering and changing for both males and females). After you get changed, your coach will then take you though the next steps!
We have a simple, standardised 60-minute assessment process that enables us to find out more about your training and injury history as well as your fitness goals. The Introduction to HENCH Session is a private 60-minute One-to-One Personal Training session with an expert HENCH coach consisting of a movement screen, strength assessment and individualised training, nutrition and performance lifestyle suggestions.
At this point, we will have a complete picture of where you’re at now, where you aim to be and we can recommend the best programme for you from the perspective of your assessment data, goals, schedule and budget.
